After a loooong wait we are recording with composer Owen Morgan Roberts!

We are recording ‘Headlong' for 8 voices, narration, organ and electronics in our favorite recording venue: Garnison Church in Copenhagen where all will be conducted by Paul Hillier and engineered by Preben Iwan.

BBC Music Magazine wrote about Owen Morgan Roberts’s project originally entitled 'Now the Hero'. One he started with his longtime collaborator, the late Oscar-nominated film composer Jóhann Jóhannsson.

The first production of the project was an immersive theatrical experience. It took place in the city of Swansea in 2018. The material has now been transformed into a concert piece in its own right.

Nawr Yr Arwr/Now The Hero is commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK’s arts programme for the First World War centenary.
