Corona Workshop

  • Unitarernes Hus 30 Dag Hammarskjölds Allé København, 2100 Denmark (map)

Here is an opportunity to take a look at vocal work process when we open the doors to an experience for the ear. As a radio theater, Theater of Voices tackles lyrics and music that set your inner cinema in motion. Louise Alenius' music for Tanja Dier's lyrics - written on the basis of conversations with inmates in Danish prisons and Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen's tag on social realism poems in 'Simple Songs'. We also demonstrate work on graphic scores translated into music for anklung - our favorite West Javanese bamboo instrument! - and other percussion instruments. Sounds and experiences abound when you embark on a sonic journey with Theater of Voices.
