Jóhann Jóhannsson
From the 12th - 14th of May 2014 Theatre of Voices will be recording music by Jóhann Jóhannsson for the documentary film "Good Things Await" by filmmaker Phie Ambo.
Niels the farmer grows some of the world’s best ingredients, prized by the world’s best restaurant, NOMA and created in harmony with the universe. But Niels’ life and his farm are ruled by authorities with no respect for his principles, and he has lost the right to sell organic milk. Now the authorities are threatening to withdraw his license to keep cattle, the buildings are deteriorating and with no successor to take over Niels risks seeing his life fall apart. It's a film about the old, natural ways of farming, and how they are increasingly out of place in our world of industrial food production. It's also about a deeply philosophical man who has decided, against the odds, to dedicate his life to the old ways of farming.
