After recording a selection of English glees in Garnisonskirken earlier this fall, Theatre of Voices is returning to Garnisonskirken to record ‘In Flagrante Delicto’ by composer and musician Peter Navarro-Alonso. This 60 minute piece in four movements was composed in conversation with Theatre of Voices and Ensemble Stralo and premiered in February 2022 in Helsingborg. In 2023, Navarro-Alonso was a recipient of the Carl Nielsen & Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen honorary award, and an excerpt of the work was performed at the award ceremony in DR Koncerthuset. Additionally, Theatre of Voices and Ensemble Stralo performed the work at KLANG Festival, Bornholms Musikfestival and Vendsyssel Festival, amongst others.
