About TOV:

Rastko Roknic was born in Belgrade, 1971. He studied viola in Belgrade (grad. 1997) and Oslo and baroque viola in Odense (grad. 2002). From 1992-2001 he played the viola in Odense Symphony Orchestra.

Free-lance since 2001, playing in a number of period instrument ensembles in Scandinavia, such as: In Denmark: Concerto Copenhagen, Ensemble Zimmermann (Århus), Holmens Barokensemble (Copenhagen), Enghave Kirkes Barokorkester (Copenhagen), Originalerne.org, Copenhagen Soloists, CoMa string quartet and Vanhal string quartet, Graabrødre Barokorkester, Trinitatis Vokal & Barokensemble Copenhagen. A number of opera productions with Concerto Copenhagen for the Royal Danish Theatre and with Barokksolistene for Den Ny Opera (Esbjerg). Colaboration with choirs such as Theatre of Voices, Ars Nova Copenhagen, DR Vokalensemble.
In Sweden: Ensemble 1700 (Lund), Stockholm Antiqua, Drottningholms Teater, Östgöta Barock (Linköping), Wasa Barockorkester, Malmö Barockorkester.
In Norway: Barokksolistene, SIWAN (an international cross-over project).
In Europe: Arte dei Suonatori (Poland).

Rastko Rotnic has recorded numerous CDs as a member of ensembles. The complete symhponies of Carl Nielsen with Odense Symphony Orchestra.
Several CDs with Concerto Copenhagen and Lars Ulrik Mortensen incl. 2 DVD with Händel´s
operas Giulio Cesare and Partenope at the Royal Danish Theatre and a soundtrack for Kasper
Holten´s film Juan.
